Do you have an hourly minimum?
There’s a 3hr minimum when you book a moving job. We do offer flat rates for smaller moves
Do you require a deposit when booking a job?
All moves require a 20% deposit
What is your cancellation policy?
You must cancel 72hours before your scheduled move time to refunded your deposit

When should I schedule my move?
The earlier the better! Most people request to move the first and last weeks of the month – this is the busiest time to move

Can I help the movers move boxes and furniture?
No due to our insurance policy , our team will handle the heavy lifting for you.
Can you help me unload a pod or moving truck?
Yes! We offer a labor-only service that includes movers, tools, and dollies.
If I rent my own moving truck can I hire your team to load the truck?
Yes! We can help you load your moving truck or pod.
Do you provide floor protection?
Yes. We provide neoprene floor runners for every move. If you’d like additional protection we offer ram board or carpet protection an additional cost.

What are available payment methods?
We accept credit/debit cards (American Express, Mastercard, and Visa), Cash, Cash App, Check, Zelle, and Venmo.
Is there a processing fee for debit/credit cards?
Yes, there’s a 4% processing fee for all card transactions.
Is the deposit amount deducted from my final bill?
Yes.
Should I tip the movers? How much?
Tipping is not mandatory, however it is customary.
- Insurance and Claims
If something is damaged during my move is Headband Movers liable to replace it?
Ez As Pie Moving is only liable to replace or repair damaged/missing items if you choose to purchase Full Value Protection for an additional cost. In the event that you have chosen to go with the Free Basic Coverage, the liability is 60cents/pound for each damaged item.
How do I file a claim for a damaged item?
You have 2 weeks from your move date to file a claim. If something is damaged on your move our movers will photograph the damaged item and report it to management. If you have any questions or concerns please give us a call.
Do you have a service contract?
Yes, please review your service contract before your moving date. The contract will be attached to your moving quote.
What does your moving insurance cover?
We will send you a contract with all this information when we send you your moving quote. Please take the time to read this entire contact before you sign the estimate and schedule your move.
Are you responsible for items that are damaged in a Uhaul or Pod?
No, we are not responsible for any items that are damaged inside a pod or rental truck. We are only responsible for stuff that we transport in our own trucks. If you decided to rent a moving truck or pod for your move we highly recommend that your purchase insurance from Uhaul, Pods, or a third-party insurance provider.
