Questions? We've got answers.
Do you charge extra for stairs or long walks?
We ask about stairs, elevators and long walks on both ends in the quote form, then confirm on a quick call. Your price includes it — no move-day surprises.
Are you a broker?
Never. We're the actual movers — no brokers, no handoffs. On out-of-state moves the same crew that loads your home drives the truck and unloads it. Transparent pricing, old-fashioned Southern hospitality.
Do you move apartments?
Yes. Apartments, condos and townhomes — stairs, elevators and breezeways included. We can send a Certificate of Insurance to your leasing office.
Can I hire just labor to load or unload my truck?
Yes. Our labor-only crews load or unload your U-Haul, Penske, Budget or PODS container. You provide the truck or container; we bring the muscle and know-how.
What is your storage like?
Private, sealed storage vaults inside our insulated, climate-controlled warehouse — never freezing cold or burning hot. There's no public access; call dispatch with 48 hours' notice to schedule a retrieval.
Do you have wardrobe boxes, TV boxes or mattress bags?
Yes. Wardrobe box rentals are $10 per box, TV boxes are available to rent, and we supply mattress bags. Your apple pie is always free.
Do you mount or hang TVs?
No. We pack, pad and move your TVs safely in TV boxes, but our crews don't take TVs off the wall or hang them. Please have wall-mounted TVs taken down before move day.
How do monthly payment plans work?
Tap "See if you prequalify" to check 3 to 36 month options through Wisetack — checking won't affect your credit score. Then dispatch confirms your move details and finalizes your terms before booking.
How do I pay? Do you take cash?
We're 100% cashless: major credit and debit cards, or monthly payment plans through Wisetack. Cash is only for tipping your movers.
What if my closing date moves?
No stress. Upstate closings shift all the time — call us and we'll work with you to reschedule.
Is there anything you can't move?
For safety we can't load propane tanks, gasoline (empty mowers first), open paint or chemicals, or firearms and ammunition.
What happens if it rains on move day?
We still move you. Our crew uses floor runners, blankets and shrink wrap to keep your things dry.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. EZ As Pie Moving is fully licensed and insured, with Full Value Protection options for high-value items.
When do I get my free pie?
After your move is complete, you get a fresh apple pie from Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop on Augusta Rd in Greenville.
Do I need to do a walkthrough?
It's optional but it gets you the most accurate price. Book a live video walkthrough with our move coordinator, or record a 5–10 minute video on your own time.
